What can granite powder do

Specifically, there are mainly the following applications:
1 Used for building bricks
The research and application of granite slurry or stone powder as wall bricks are available at home and abroad. The domestic use of granite powder waste and proper filling of some aggregates and cementitious materials can produce more than 10 grade masonry bricks for construction through mechanical pressing, autoclaving, curing and other processes.
2. Used for building paint production
Grind and screen the uncolored or colored granite waste with different particle sizes for surface anti-weathering treatment, and then mix it with weather-resistant resin and other additives. It has a natural stone texture when applied on the wall of the building. Due to the anti-weathering treatment and the use of weather-resistant resin on the surface of the granite fragments, the color does not fade, and can maintain a good decorative effect for a long time. This kind of coating is not only used for the wall, but also for the surface finishing of various wall materials such as slate.
3. Application in glass, cement, ceramics, etc
It is technically feasible to prepare glass-ceramics from waste granite. If the waste granite powder is used as the base material, combined with limestone, sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate, graphite and zinc oxide, the molten heat treatment process is adopted, and the molten glass is melted into liquid glass at 1450 ℃ in the electric furnace, and then the glass plate is made, and then the first heat treatment is conducted at 850 ℃ for 1h, and the second heat treatment is conducted at 1050 ℃ for 2h to form crystal nucleus, which can be made into black glass-ceramics.
The amount of waste granite slurry belongs to soft clay with low limestone content. The filtered waste slurry is naturally dried into powder, and then screened with a sieve with a mesh of 1mm. In the vibration mixer, the above-mentioned waste slurry powder, 425 Portland cement, sand and rheological agent are filled, with a water consumption of 600kg, and the waste slurry of 23kg. The mechanical strength, appearance and processability of the cement products produced with the above raw materials can meet the requirements, making the granite sawing waste slurry have a great market in this respect.
Because the granite waste contains the chemical components that can be used to produce traditional ceramics, the granite waste with a particle size of 14~100 and clay can be selected to mix in proper proportion and form a blank, and then directly fire the granite-like ceramic products, or the glazed ceramic products can be fired after the plain firing.
Overseas use of granite waste to replace feldspar and quartz raw materials to produce ceramic glaze has been successful. For example, add an appropriate amount of lime or silica into the granite powder, and adjust the formula to prepare glaze similar to transparent glaze and celadon glaze, and add an appropriate amount of iron, copper, aluminum and other colored metals. Adjust the formula to prepare iron glaze, gold sand glaze, sulfur glaze, etc.
Is granite pavement suitable for driving?
Granite gravel pavement is OK, and driving is OK. Granite slate pavement is OK with light vehicles, but medium vehicles are not too good. Granite roadbed is the hardest roadbed, which can be used by all kinds of vehicles.
